We all long to be loved. Not only do we all long to be loved, but we long to be loved in a certain way. The love we desire is a love that is sincere and a love that is lifelong. We all want true love in our lives and we all want to be loved as we are. If you are searching for true love in your life where are you looking for it? Do you feel like you’ve searched the ends of the earth but still haven’t quite found it? Maybe you don’t understand what love really is. In all actuality you don’t need to look far for true love. You don’t even need to leave your house. You don’t need to move from exactly where you are right now. The love that we all long for is the love of God, for His love is the only sincere, never ending love there is. God is love! (1 John 4:8) God always loves us perfectly just as we are no matter what! God is always right here with us loving us perfectly every moment of our lives. There is nowhere we can go in this entire world that would allow us to escape God or His love! You have been loved your entire life, even before you were created you have been perfectly loved by God.

God loves you with an everlasting, never ending, sincere love that has no comparison. God loves you exactly how you are, no matter what! God knows you even better than you know yourself for He created you! Psalm 139:13 says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. (NIV) God knows what you are going to do or say even before you do it or say it! Psalm 139:4 says “Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. (NIV) No one is perfect and we all sin. Despite our sinful nature and all of our imperfections God loves us perfectly as we are. God sent His Son Jesus to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, He was buried, and then He rose to life again on the third day. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV) There is no greater love than the love that God has for us, for God is love! God has blessed us with this free gift of salvation in Jesus that is to be received by faith. When we acknowledge that we are sinners and believe in our hearts that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins and that He rose to life again, then we can invite Jesus into our hearts and our lives as our personal Savior and receive eternal life in Him. Romans 10:9 says “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (NIV) If you have come to understand and acknowledge that you are a sinner and you believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross to save you from your sins then you can invite Jesus into your heart as your personal Savior by praying a prayer like this:

Dear Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and that I need Jesus to save me. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins and that He rose to life again. God I am sorry for my sin. I invite Jesus into my heart and my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I commit my life to you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior then we receive eternal life in Him! Remember, God loves you! God’s love for you is everlasting! We are imperfect but we have a God and Savior who is perfect! Even though we may falter in our efforts to love, we can always rest assured knowing that we are perfectly loved even though we don’t deserve it. God’s love for you will never end! 1 John 4:9-10 tells us that “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (NIV) When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior we become children of God! John 1:12-13 says “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. (NIV) How incredible is that? We are children of the one and only God of all creation! 1 John 3:1 says “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (NIV) So let us rejoice in the Lord and His endless love for us! We never have to question if we are loved for our Creator loves us perfectly with an everlasting love!

Not only are we perfectly loved, but we can also rest assured knowing that we have nothing to fear, for God is in control of all things and He works all things out for our good! (Romans 8:28) We can be joyful knowing that God will bless us with exactly what we need in all moments of life! Remember, it is God who works in you to do His will. (Philippians 2:13) Even when we experience times that seem difficult in our lives we can still be confident in the Lord knowing that God blesses us with struggles in our lives to strengthen us and sanctify us to become more like our Savior Jesus! Even the difficult times in our lives are blessings! As children of God we have Jesus living in our inner being! With Jesus in our hearts we have true peace, peace in our inner being and peace with God! We have hope for our future, as we have said before, God works all things out for our good. Not only do we have hope for our future but we also have the hope and assurance of an eternal future with Jesus! So let us go forth rejoicing in the Lord! For we are children of the one and only living God of all creation and we are always perfectly blessed in Him even though none of us ever deserve it! We have nothing to fear and we are in fact eternally and perfectly loved!

If you are still searching for true love in your life then look no further for you have always been loved and you always will be no matter what! For God is always right there with you longing for you to come to Him just as you are and loving you every single step of the way. You are perfectly and eternally loved whether you believe it or not! I encourage you to accept the perfect love of God! Turn to the God who created you, open your heart to Him and accept His love and His free gift of Salvation in Jesus! God has brought you here and it is God who pursues our hearts! If God is in pursuit of your heart, and remember, it is God who brought you here, then He will not fail! No one and nothing can stop Him! What an incredible blessing! The God of all creation loves each and every one of us and He pursues our hearts even though we don’t deserve His endless love and grace! Don’t delay turn to God and experience all the best in life and true life itself. If you have already accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, then go about this day rejoicing in the Lord for life with Jesus only gets better and better with each passing moment! Rejoice in the Lord without ceasing for you have been set free from sin and death for all of eternity and you have not a thing to fear! Enjoy being a child of God!
