Hope For The Future

This month we have been encouraged with the fact that God is our Creator who loves us perfectly as we are! We have also been encouraged with the fact that God pursues our hearts even though we do not deserve it! This week we are going to be reminded of the hope we have for our future when we are in Jesus! When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior then we receive eternal life in Him and Jesus lives in our inner being! Through Jesus, we have peace with God and we are set free from sin and death for all of eternity! All of our past, present and future sins are eternally forgiven! Only in Jesus do we have true hope for our future and the assurance of eternal life in Him!

God is in control of all things and His will is always done! (Isaiah 14:24) Thankfully, as God’s children, we can rest assured knowing that God works all things out for our good! As Romans 8:28 says “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (NIV) God always knows exactly what you need even when you do not and you can rest assured knowing that God will bless you with exactly what you need in each moment of your life! God has a plan for each and every one of us! God has a plan for you! Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV) As we read in Jeremiah, we can be confident in the Lord knowing that God has a plan for us and His plan is always to prosper us! We do in fact have hope for our future in the Lord!

Even in times of life that seem hard we can rest assured knowing that struggles are a blessing! God blesses us with struggles in our lives to strengthen us and to shape us even further into the child of God that He has created us to be! We should rejoice in our struggles! We are instructed in James 1:2-4 to “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. (NIV) We should rejoice in the Lord praising Him for our struggles, for God is sanctifying us to be more like our Savior Jesus! Philippians 1:29 says “For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him, (NIV) Praise God that you bear the name of Jesus! Struggles never seem pleasant at the time, but God is teaching us through them and He is treating us as His children! In Hebrews 12:5-7 we are taught, “My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.” Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. (NIV) We should be encouraged when we face struggles in life, for God has blessed us with our Salvation in Jesus, we are children of God, and God is blessing us and treating us as His children! We are being taught and blessed by our Heavenly Father! Even in times of struggle we have hope for our future in Jesus and we are eternally secure in Him! When we are experiencing times of struggle in our lives, we should humbly come before the Lord in prayer and ask Him to make us to be faithful in doing His will and to make us be faithful in glorifying Him in every way. Remember to believe that you have what you are asking for in prayer and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) Remember, God is faithful even when we are not and it is God living in us who makes us do His will. (Philippians 2:13) Let us not become weary in doing good for it is the Lord God we serve! Be encouraged with the words of Hebrews 12:11 which say “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (NIV) So do not lose heart and do not give up! God is in control and He is always blessing you with exactly what you need in each moment of your life!

God is in control of all things and when we are in Jesus we have true hope for our future! As children of God we have eternal life in our Savior Jesus! We can rest assured knowing that God is always working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28) and His will is always done. (Isaiah 14:24) God always blesses us with exactly what we need in each moment of life! God always blesses us perfectly according to His will. God has a plan for each one of us and His plan is to prosper us! (Jeremiah 29:11) When we are in Jesus, then we are eternally forgiven for all of our sins and they will never be counted against us! We have not a thing to fear, for we have been reconciled to God by the blood of His Son and through Him we have eternal peace with God! We get to enjoy each moment of life in the Lord knowing that everything is taken care of for us in our Savior Jesus! In our Savior Jesus we have the assurance of eternal life in Him! Let us enjoy this blessed life to which God has called us, for He has called us to true life and eternal life! Let us praise the Lord our God without ceasing, for we are His precious children who have true hope for their future! We can rest assured in the Lord knowing that we will be perfectly blessed each day by the Lord our God because we have our Savior Jesus living in us by the grace of God! Praise God for the overwhelming blessed love of God and the eternal life to which we have been called!
