Our Scripture to memorize this month is Psalm 32:5. The Scripture plan that we are studying is titled: Prayers of Repentance. This month we are celebrating Easter. To celebrate Easter is to celebrate the sacrifice that Jesus Christ our Savior made on the cross when He died for our sins and then He rose to life again on the third day so that anyone who believes in Him will be eternally saved in His Name. (John 3:16, Romans 10:9) Thanks be to God who delivers us from sin and death in our Savior, Jesus! We read in Romans, “O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.” (Romans 7:24-25, KJV)
In our Scripture plan this month, we are studying Psalm 51 which teaches us that we are sinful from the moment we are conceived, and our sins are always before us. (Psalm 51:3,5) Let us confidently, in Jesus, go to God and confess our sinful ways to receive His continual mercy and grace! “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16, KJV)

Happy Easter! Praise be to the Lord our God, Jesus is risen!
