Romans 12:1-2 Scripture Memorization Page

Our Scripture to memorize this month in our Obedience Scripture Plan comes from Romans. Romans 12:1-2 says, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Romans 12:1-2, KJV) We also read another command in 1 John which says, “Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” (1 John 3:21-23, KJV)  

True obedience to God is to believe in the Name of His Son Jesus and, through Him, live in humble obedience to God as living sacrifices pleasing to Him! Enjoy spending time in God’s Word, learning from Him, as you grow in your faith and walk humbly with the Lord our God!
