Children Of God Scripture Writing/Reading Plan September 2025

This month we have a new Scripture Plan that is all about the eternal blessing it is to be a child of God through Jesus Christ our Savior! One of our memory verses for this month is John 1:12 which says, “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” (John 1:12, KJV) All of those who believe in Jesus, and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior, become children of God. If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then today is the day and now is the time to turn to God, confess your need of Jesus to Save you from your sins, put your faith in Jesus and invite Jesus into your heart and your life as your personal Lord and Savior! As 2 Corinthians 5:20-21 says “Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” (2 Corinthians 5:20-21, KJV)
If you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then be greatly encouraged by these verses, that we will be studying this month in our plan, that come from the Book of 1 John: “I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.” (1 John 2:12, KJV) Also, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:13, KJV) In Jesus Christ our Savior all of our past, present and future sins are eternally forgiven through Jesus and we receive eternal peace with God! In Jesus, we become children of God and God enables us to continue to put or faith and trust in Him, the Lord our God, Who has redeemed us from all sin and death through Jesus Christ our Savior! All children of God can and must confidently trust in the Lord our God knowing that He tells us in His Word that He is always working in all things for His glory and our good, the good of His precious dearly loved chosen children in Jesus! (Romans 8:28-30)
Be encouraged, my dear brothers and sisters, as you study God’s Word and learn all about the abundant blessings that the children of God receive in Jesus Christ our Savior! Enjoy spending time in God’s Word and remember Psalm 1:1-3 which says “BLESSED is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm 1:1-3, KJV) I pray that the Lord will continue to give all of His children understanding in His Word and that He will enable us to sincerely delight in His Word and meditate on it continuously!
