Is there anything that is troubling you today? Anything that is weighing you down? Are you carrying any burdens? Let me encourage you my dear friends! God cares for you! In 1 Peter 5:7 we are instructed to “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. (NIV) God created your inmost being and God knows every bit of you even better than you know yourself! Psalm 139:13 says “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. (NIV) God knows every one of your thoughts, your words, your actions, He knows it all! Psalm 139:4 says “Before a word is on my tongue you, LORD, know it completely. (NIV) Even though each and every one of us are imperfect people who sin against God, He loves us perfectly with an everlasting love! God loves you perfectly, just as you are, with a never ending love! It is God alone who we sin against and yet it is God who has blessed us with His free gift of salvation in His Son, Jesus, who died on the cross to save us from our sins. Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins, He was buried and then He rose to life again conquering sin and death for all of eternity! (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Salvation for our souls in Jesus is a free gift from God and this free gift from God must be received by faith! Romans 3:25 says that “God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. (NIV) All who believe in Jesus receive eternal life in Him! John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (NIV) Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace! It is God who we sin against and it is God who has blessed us with His free gift of salvation in Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us to reconcile us to God by the shedding of His blood for us!

No matter what your past or present looks like, God wants you to come to Him just as you are in this very moment! Remember, God knows every bit of you even better than you know yourself and He loves you perfectly as you are no matter what! Matthew 11:28 says “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (NIV) Go to God as you are and He will give you rest! Only God can give you true rest and only God can carry your burdens for you! Humbly go before God and open your heart to Him! Acknowledge your sins and confess to God, letting go of all that troubles you! As Psalm 32:5 says “Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. (NIV) And as Psalm 38:18 says “I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin. (NIV) Sincerely relinquish everything to God and commit yourself and your life to Him! Not a single one of us is perfect and each and every one of us sins. As Romans 3:23 says “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (NIV) Our sins separates us from God and our sin leads to death. (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23) God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross to save us from our sins and all who believe in Jesus receive eternal life in Him! (John 3:16) Salvation for our souls is only found in Jesus (Acts 4:12) and salvation in Jesus is a free gift from God that must be received by faith. (Romans 3:25) Ephesians 2:8-9 says that “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. (NIV) When we come to understand and admit that we are sinners and if we believe in our hearts that Jesus died on the cross to save us from our sins and that He rose to life again, then we can invite Jesus into our hearts and our lives as our personal Lord and Savior and receive eternal forgiveness and eternal life in Him. Romans 10:9 says that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (NIV) If you have come to understand and admit that you are a sinner and if you believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross to save you from your sins and that He rose to life again, then you can invite Jesus into your heart and your life as your personal Lord and Savior and receive eternal life in Him. You can pray a prayer like this:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know that I am a sinner and that I need Jesus to save me. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins and that He rose to life again. God I am sorry for my sin. I invite Jesus into my heart and my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I commit my life to you.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Jesus paid the full price for you and now, through faith in Him, you have become a child of God in Him! As Psalm 139:23 says “Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (NIV) God is leading you in the way everlasting! God opened your heart and your eyes to the truth about your sinful nature and your need for your Savior, Jesus! Then God taught you about His perfect love for you and the sacrifice that Jesus made for you and then God blessed you with your faith in Jesus so that you received eternal forgiveness and eternal life in Him!
