I’m Thankful For You!

This month our Scripture Writing/Reading Plan is titled: Give Thanks To God And Praise His Holy Name! Every single blessing comes from God! I want to take this opportunity to let you all know that you are all an incredible blessing! I praise God for every single one of you! I praise God that He loves each one of us perfectly in every way and I praise Him for pursuing our hearts just as we are! Salvation in Jesus is the absolute greatest blessing and not a single one of us on this earth are deserving of it. We are all imperfect sinners. (Romans 3:23) Our sin separates us from God and our sin leads to death. (Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23) It is God alone who we sin against and yet it is God who has blessed us with His free gift of salvation for our souls in His one and only Son Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us. Jesus Christ died on the cross to save us from our sins, He was buried and then He rose to life again and all who believe in Him receive eternal forgiveness for each and every one of their sins and they receive eternal life in Jesus! (John 3:16, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4) Salvation in Jesus is a free gift from God and we must receive this free gift from God by faith! (Romans 3:25) All who accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior become children of God, Jesus lives in their inner being and Jesus is their life! (John 1:12, Galatians 2:20, Colossians 3:4) All who are in Jesus, through faith in Him, cross over from death to life! (John 5:24) They become a new creation in Jesus! (2 Corinthians 5:17) If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then you have become a child of God and you are no longer a slave to sin for your Savior Jesus has set you free from all sin and death for all of eternity! (Romans 6:14) You are a new creation in Jesus, the old is gone, and you have not a thing to fear for your Savior Jesus conquered sin and death for you and He reconciled you to God by the shedding of His precious blood for you! This is not your home, you are looking forward to an eternal future in Heaven with your Savior Jesus!

Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace! Those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior have been eternally forgiven for all of our past, present, and future sins in Jesus who loves us and gave Himself for us! We are imperfect sinners, like everyone else. God drew us into His truth and love to bless us with our salvation in Jesus! God opened our eyes to understand the truth about our sinful ways and He led us to repentance of our sinful ways. God revealed to us our need for our Savior Jesus to save us! God taught us the gospel of salvation in Jesus and He blessed us with our faith to believe in our Savior Jesus and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior receiving eternal life in Him! It is by the perfect grace of God that we are saved! (Ephesians 2:8-9) Let us praise God without ceasing for we are perfectly, eternally blessed in our Savior Jesus! God works all things out for the good of His children (Romans 8:28) and in Jesus, through faith in Him, we are God’s precious, dearly loved children who are guaranteed a perfectly blessed future without anything to fear!

If you have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then I implore you, do not delay any longer! God has brought you here for a reason! God is working in your heart and in your life at this very moment. God loves every single bit of you perfectly, just as you are! God knows every bit of you even better than you know yourself, for God created your inmost being. (Psalm 139:13) There is nothing that you can conceal from God and there is nowhere that you can go to escape Him or His love for you. No matter what your past or present looks like God is wanting you to come to Him just as you are in this very moment and open your heart to Him. God has brought you here and He is Sharing His truth and His love with you! God is sharing the gospel of salvation in Jesus with you! Open your heart to God and invite Jesus in! Relinquish all that hinders you and repent! God loves you perfectly as you are, even though you are a sinner like the rest of us! The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9 that “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (NIV) If you have come to understand and admit that you are a sinner and if you believe in your heart that Jesus died on the cross to save you from your sins and that He rose to life again, then you can invite Jesus into your heart and your life as your personal Lord and Savior. You can pray a prayer like this:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know that I am a sinner and that I need Jesus to save me. I believe that Jesus died on the cross to save me from my sins and that He rose to life again. God I am sorry for my sin. I invite Jesus into my heart and my life as my personal Lord and Savior. I commit my life to you.

In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

If you prayed a prayer like this and accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then praise God for you have been set free from all sin and death for all of eternity and you have received eternal life in your Savior Jesus!

I praise God that He pursues our hearts just as we are to bless us with faith in Jesus to believe in Jesus and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior to receive eternal life in Him! I praise God that He blessed me with my salvation in Jesus even though I am an imperfect sinner who deserves death and punishment because of my sins! As 1 Timothy 1:15 says “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. (NIV) Praise God for His perfect love and His perfect grace! I praise God for this blog! This blog is God’s blog and His blog alone! God shares His truth and His love with people through His blog! God shares the gospel of our salvation with people through this blog! I praise God for every single person that will ever have anything to do with God’s blog! No matter where you are or what your life may look like it is God who brings you to this blog and it is God who is working in your heart and in your life! God pursues our hearts to bless us perfectly in every way!

There is a specific Bible Verse that comes to mind whenever I think of the individuals that visit God’s blog and that Verse is 1 Thessalonians 3:9 which says “How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?” (NIV) I cannot thank God enough for each and every single one of you for God blesses me so richly through you! I pray for each of you and I praise God for each of you and your families! I love you all so very dearly and deeply! It is God who loves you through me! All the love we receive comes from God and only God loves us perfectly and completely every single moment of our lives just as we are in each moment! Thank you my dear friends for being such an incredible blessing and please know that you are a blessing to many people in your lives! If Jesus lives in your inner being, as your personal Lord and Savior, then Jesus is your life and His light is shining from within you for all to see! Enjoy being the vessel through which God constantly shares His truth and His love with others!

One other passage of Scripture that must be shared today is Romans 10:14-15 which says “How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (NIV) If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, then you have beautiful feet that are bringing the good news of salvation in Jesus to others! It is God who shares His gospel of salvation in Jesus through us! I am forever thankful for every single one of you and I praise God for you all!
