You Are Never Alone

Have you ever had a time in your life where you felt completely and utterly alone? Or maybe in a smaller way, you have had an instance where you felt like those around you didn’t understand you or something that you were experiencing or going through. You can put these thoughts behind you once and for all! You can be encouraged knowing that you are never alone! God is always with us! There is not a single place you can go in this entire world, or even outside of it, where you can escape God and His love for you. Psalm 139:7-8 says “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. (NIV) In fact, nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Hebrews 4:13 says “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. (NIV) You can be encouraged that you are never alone, God is always right there with you loving you perfectly every step of the way and longing to have a relationship with you.

We are never alone and we can never escape God and His love for us. When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior then we are forgiven for all of our past, present and future sins, for all of eternity, and God blesses us with His Holy Spirit living in our inner being! Acts 2:38 says “Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (NIV) When we have the Holy Spirit living in our inner being then we are truly never alone to the very core of our being! When we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, then we become children of God! As children of God it is God’s Holy Spirit living in us Who makes us live a life that is glorifying to God.

As God’s precious children, we can always be encouraged knowing that God will never leave us or forsake us! (Deuteronomy 31:8) As we learned earlier in the month, God is in control of all things and His will is always done. (Isaiah 14:24) God works all things out for the good of His children! (Romans 8:28) We can be confident in the Lord knowing that, in Jesus, we have the assurance of eternal life and God will always bless us perfectly according to His will! As children of God we have God’s Holy Spirit living in our inner being and we have eternal life in our Savior Jesus! We can be encouraged by the words we read in Proverbs 3:25-26 which instruct us to “Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. (NIV) God is living in us, guiding us, teaching us, protecting us, and blessing us perfectly according to His will. God always knows exactly what we need even when we do not and He will bless us perfectly with exactly what we need in each moment of life! We are never alone! God is living within us! We have the one and only true living God of all creation living in us! We never have to fear being alone! God knows our inner thoughts and He knows us even better than we do for He created us! Not only did God create us but He redeemed us and He has called us to eternal life in His Son Jesus! We are perfectly and eternally blessed in Him! In fact, we have not a thing to fear! For in our Savior Jesus we have been set free from sin and death for all of eternity and we have peace with our God! We have been reconciled to God by the blood of Jesus! We are constantly being taught by God, strengthened by God, protected by God, blessed by God, the one and only true living God of all creation! God can do and does do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine and He is our helper, He is our Creator, He is our Redeemer! We are certainly never alone in Jesus!

Rest assured in the Lord our God that you are never alone! Not only are you never alone but God knows every single bit of you even better then you know yourself! Enjoy the blessings to which God has called you! God has a special purpose and plan for you in which you do His will and glorify Him! It is God living in you Who makes you do exactly that! (Philippians 2:13) Philippians 1:6 says “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. (NIV) Be confident in the Lord knowing that He has blessed you with His perfect promises and remember Luke 1:37 tells us “For no word from God will ever fail. (NIV) Be encouraged by the fact that you are a child of God who has not a thing to fear and who has been blessed with everything they need in our Savor Jesus! Go forth rejoicing in the Lord and enjoying Him and His presence for you are never alone in Him!
